A Journey of Awakening, Healing, and Coming Home

The story of Bivin Poole is more than a ministry biography. It is a sacred journey of awakening, healing, and a long, faithful return to the Father’s heart. Shaped by seasons of pain and perseverance, rejection and longing, yet also hope and redemption, Bivin’s life reveals a powerful truth: we were never meant to live as orphans, but as sons and daughters of God. Jesus Himself promised, “I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you” (John 14:18).

    Faith Tested, Identity Revealed

After decades of living in Japan, where Christianity remains largely unknown, Bivin faced seasons that tested not only his faith but his very identity. Yet through every challenge, God was quietly at work, calling, shaping, and drawing him into a deeper revelation of sonship and the Father’s unfailing love.

    A Call to Wake Up

Jesus knew that many believers would fall asleep spiritually, and Bivin was one of them. Then God’s Word pierced his heart like an alarm in the night: “Awake, you who sleep, arise from the dead, and Christ will give you light.” (Ephesians 5:14) What Bivin needed was not more religion, more effort, or more activity. He needed a spiritual wake-up call.

    Painful Beginnings

Bivin’s journey into sonship did not begin in comfort; it began in rejection. During a season when he deeply longed for a church family, he found himself interviewed by multiple churches, treated more like a job applicant than a beloved brother in Christ. Each time, he was turned away. These painful encounters left him disheartened and marginalized. His desire to belong to a loving church family remained unfulfilled. He was rejected, but not abandoned.

    A Catalyst for Change

A pivotal moment came when an international Christian church instructed Bivin to leave his faith at the door. That demand pierced his spirit. It revealed something deeply broken, and made it clear that change was necessary. The pain became a holy fire, awakening a longing for something pure, something real, something Father-centered. Pain became the catalyst that pushed him toward transformation.

The Birth of Awaken To Sonship — 2 A.M. With God

Awaken To Sonship – 2 A.M. With God was born in one of the loneliest and most vulnerable seasons of Bivin’s life. In the stillness of the early morning, when the world was asleep and no one else was watching something unexpected happened. At 2 A.M., Bivin felt a deep call to meet with God.What he discovered changed everything: God was always there. Those early mornings became sacred. A refuge. A place of healing. A place of truth. A place of peace. In those quiet hours, the Father began to reveal wisdom, direction, and solutions, not only for his own life, but for the challenges facing individuals, families, churches, and entire spiritual communities. As Scripture reminds us: “God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.” (Psalm 46:1)At 2 A.M., the Father began to speak. And without even realizing it; the sleeper within him began to awaken.

    Signs of Awakening

Over time, signs of awakening began to emerge. Surprisingly, Bivin felt a sense of spiritual death while sitting in church, a place meant for fellowship, peace, and healing. For years, he struggled to understand why. Church, intended to be a place of guidance and community, left him feeling spiritually lost, like an orphan longing for the Father’s love. Churches weighed down by traditions and doctrines offered no clear vision, no living direction. Scripture rang true: “Where there is no vision, the people perish” (Proverbs 29:18). He was among those without vision, lost within the church itself. Hurting and empty, he knew deep within his heart that there had to be more.

    From Orphanhood to Sonship

In the depths of that emptiness, God met him again, faithfully and tenderly, at 2 A.M. When strength was gone, and the world was silent, those encounters became a lifeline. God spoke. Bivin listened. God healed. God restored. In the quiet presence of the Father, Bivin discerned the difference between man-made systems and God’s true heart, between religion and relationship, striving and sonship. What he discovered changed everything. He was not an orphan trying to survive. He was a son, fully loved and fully known. And sons and daughters are not meant to sleep. They are called to awaken.

    The Birth of New Ministries

Out of this awakening, God led Bivin and his wife, Tzuhan, to establish Bivin’s Mission Japan Ministries and Awaken To Sonship Ministries. These ministries were not birthed from ambition, but from compassion, a desire to help others rediscover who they truly are in Christ and return to the Father’s heart. Believers are invited to move: From fear to freedom. From religion to relationship. From spiritual sleep to spiritual life.

    Mission & Vision

Bivin’s Mission Japan exists to reach the 99.1% of Japan’s population who have yet to hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The mission is clear: to teach, equip, and empower believers for service through the Ministry of Sonship, beginning in Japan, extending to Taiwan, throughout Asia, and ultimately to the nations. Rooted in Jesus’ words, “For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost” (Luke 19:10), Bivin and Tzuhan are committed to fulfilling the Great Commission, sharing the love and truth of Jesus Christ with those who are spiritually searching and guiding hearts back into the loving arms of the Father.

    Your Invitation To Come Home

Bivin’s story is more than a testimony, it is an invitation. An invitation to rise above the orphan spirit and step fully into your true identity in Christ. It is a call to move beyond man-made traditions that silence the Holy Spirit and to pursue Spirit-filled fellowship that raises mature sons and daughters who truly know their Heavenly Father. Scripture declares, “For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God” (Romans 8:14). This is your invitation to come home, to rest in the Father’s loving arms and live as the son or daughter you were always meant to be.
